Fall Region Meeting Recap
It was great to see everyone at the meeting today! At the bottom of this post you will find the minutes from this mornings minutes, the calendar for the year, the draw for order that occurred earlier, and the region directory.
I didn’t attach the 4A Area draw. If you’re a 4A director and didn’t get that e-mail me and I’ll send you the picture, but I assume Bill will e-mail a complete order when the draw for the other regions is complete. The minutes and directory are now online as well. I will attempt to have the mariachi music scanned and placed online early this week.
Once again www.atssbregion14.org is now the official website/document for ATSSB Region 14. Take a look and let me know if you think there is anything missing and we’ll see what I can do!
Other information from Bill Cason that wasn’t presented at the meeting:
- Directors need to take the online safety training for marching band if you have not already done so.
- Head Directors must have current CPR/AED Certifications
- 8 Hour Rule Acknowledgement forms must be collected for every student. These are kept on file by head directors for the year.
Please let me know if you are interested in meeting on the 19th at Outback Steakhouse for dinner as a group. As of right now everyone is on their own for paying. I agree with Charlie that it was a really nice night of hanging out with our fellow directors that evening last year! I’ll try and make a reservation by Friday of this week, so please let me know before then.
