All-Region Contest Entry Open

I hope this message finds you all well as we move into November and our All-Region Auditions in December. Please remember that all entries must be made into the online form at www.tmea.org prior to November 19th. Late entries for double the entry fee will be accepted through November 26th. After 11:59pm on November 26th there will be NO LATE ENTRIES ACCEPTED!!! Please be sure that you take care of entries prior to the time that most of us will be breaking for Thanksgiving Break. Please note that participating schools must bring all staff to the auditions on December 3rd for us to run the auditions. Charles Cabrera will send out more information about the auditions in the coming weeks!
On Tuesday, November 29th from 6pm-7pm we will be meeting to make the audition cuts for the All-Region Auditions at the Odem Band Hall in Odem. All decisions will be final at 7pm on the audition cuts and we invite anyone who wishes to have input into the cuts to attend the meeting. Here are directions to the Odem Band Hall:

From Corpus Christi:

Follow US77 towards Houston (about 5 miles past I37 Junctio)

Before the Shell Station/Subway Turn Left onto W Turner Street.

(If you go to first light turn left there and follow the road until it T’s into Cook Ave, and then turn right into drive past tennis courts)

Follow the road/drive past the gym on the left. You can either park along the yellow posted fence on the grass, behind our cars on the side, or in the tennis court parking lot. The band hall is the building at the end of the drive next to the yellow posts where our practice field is.

From the East or South: 

Get to US77. If you are East of Odem turn left and follow it into town. Go past the stop lights, train tracks, etc. At the street past the Subway/Shell station turn right onto W. Turner Street. Follow the road/drive past the gym on the left. You can either park along the yellow posted fence on the grass, behind our cars on the side, or in the tennis court parking lot. The band hall is the building at the end of the drive next to the yellow posts where our practice field is.

The technical address is 1 Owl Square, Odem, TX 78370. We’re still in the construction phase right now so still in our existing building. Just come straight to the Band Hall for the meeting. We will send that information on audition cuts that evening to all of the addresses on this mailing list so you may tell your students the following day.
